What People are Saying

"It reminded me of an application I used a few years ago for study purposes called Quizlet, but ThinkLocker is Quizlet on steroids. ThinkLocker is much more appealing because of its ability to include graphics. Most students are visual learners and having the opportunity to use graphics is a bonus"

"What I like about building is that I have a chance to share my passion with others.  I’m excited that someone using one of my lockers might be inspired to want to learn more about wildlife and nature beyond the module they’re playing and maybe even begin to develop their own passion for the wildlife.

I love the idea of using my photos to help stimulate an awareness and, hopefully, an appreciation of birds and wildlife.  ThinkLocker gives the end users a fun way to learn.  I strongly believe that through visual stimulation people perhaps not otherwise so inclined may begin to see birds and mammals as beings worthy of protection and care simply in and of themselves.

Building lockers gives me a chance to share the knowledge I have with others.  I’m excited that, by doing so, the passion I have for my wildlife Locker subjects has the opportunity, no matter how small, to take seed in the Locker players."

“I enjoyed using the Perpetual Learning Method because it helped me learn about a subject really quickly. I would like to see Lockers created in almost every subject in general because it does a great job of teaching you the material and remembering it.”

“Students in Surgical Technology use ThinkLocker and the Perpetual Learning Method throughout the program.  It is especially helpful to students during their first two semesters as they prepare for their certification exam.”

“I track student results on the CST exam and student success on the exam has increased due to the PLM site.  Students used to miss certification by many points on the exam.  Now most students pass and if they do not, they are only missing the cutoff by 1 point.”

“When students take the CST exam for the first time, it is part of their tuition.  If they do not pass the first time, they have to pay out-of-pocket for subsequent attempts.  The ThinkLocker site is saving students money by helping them pass the test the first time.”

“I think the Perpetual Learning Method experience was enjoyable; I never felt pressured or embarrassed when I got a question wrong and it would help me understand the content. I’m not sure what needs to be improved, however, I would enjoy seeing PLM used for other courses as I found it helpful in learning my material.”

“I really like it, to be honest, it’s very straightforward and easy to use. I’m not really sure how it can be improved as I really like it and find it very helpful. I would also like to see the PLM platform within my high school as well.”
